Lots of people!

The last couple of weekends we’ve had 15+ people at our Chess Club meetings.  Let’s keep it going!  If you’re thinking about coming by, do it this Saturday.  And next Saturday.  And the Saturday after that.  And the … well, you get the idea.  Pretty soon we’ll have enough people to hold a small tournament!

  1. How old do you have to be for this club? I am looking for a chess club for my son who is 10. He knows how to play, he just needs guidance and improvement.

  2. The ACPL All Ages Chess Club is for ALL ages! We have several regular attendees who are in elementary school or middle/high school, and others who are older and more experienced who can provide guidance for younger players. We look forward to seeing you!

  4. Hi Melissa,

Yes, it does still meet on Saturdays. Right now we’re a bit uneven as far as attendance, but there are usually at least a few people. When summer gets here, especially after kids get out of school, we ought to see a big upswing in attendance of K-12 students.
